Vita

 

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and a Research Associate at the Hobby Center for Public Policy at the University of Houston. I earned my M.Phil and Ph.D in Political Science from Columbia University where I previously earned a master’s degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from the School of International and Public Affairs. I received my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from ITAM in Mexico City, where I got a Certificate in Religions of the World. Before going to Columbia, I worked at the Finance Ministry and at the Office of the Chief of Government in Mexico City. I specialize on survey research (political behavior), development, immigration, and applied quantitative methods. PDF Version
